Erie PC and Laptop - Repair and Services was originally founded in 1980 as Advanced Business Systems, Inc (ABS). We started using the name Erie PC and Laptop - Repair and Services to help people recognize what we do, or even better, check out our Services.
Erie PC has over 55 years of combined experience in computer repair and data processing. We started on mainframes, followed up by mini computers, micro computers, and eventually personal computers. I still tell the story of a company I know buying a 1 gigabyte hard drive costing $10,000. Now you can get a 2,000 gigabyte hard drive for under $100. Amazing, how far we've come.
We've worked with both Unix and Linux operating systems, but have ended up focusing on Microsoft's Windows operating systems, including XP, Vista, 7, 8, and all the Microsoft server software.
Whether you are having a hardware problem, like a bad hard drive, cdrom, or motherboard, or a software problem, like the blue screen of death, spyware, malware, or maybe your internet is taking you someplace at random, we can fix it. It doesn't matter what the problem is. If your computer isn't working, or the software program you are running is giving you errors, or locking up, or anything connected to your computer is having problems, we can help.
In the past we were primarily a commercial or business computer service provider. But in recent years we've been providing services to our residential customers, after seeing the need for services in the home, due to people owning one, if not multiple PC's and laptops.

It's scary knowing absolutely nothing about an item needing serviced, and having to take a chance on a technician you don't know, and relying on their trust worthiness and his ability as a technician.
